Ceremonial official opening of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza took place on 7-th of December.
Overall investitions for first construction stage of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza realization, which is of 165 000 sq.m. gross area and located on Gor’kogo street in Kiev Shevchenkovskiy district, comprised about $300.
“The project cost almost $300”, - informed president of LLC “K.A.N.Development” (Kiev), one of the partners of the project realization, Igor Nikonov during the press-conference held on the occasion of ceremonial shopping and entertainment center opening in Kiev on Friday.
He remarked herewith, that initially construction of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza realization anticipates long-term recoupment of the project.
“We are planning to cover outlays in 8-9 years”, - added Igor Nikonov.
As specified during the press-conference first vice-president of Open joint-stock company “Commercial and Industrial Union Real Estate” (Moscow, Russian Federation), managing company of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza, Aleksei Chinaliev, currently 95 % of shopping and entertainment sales areas are leased.
“To my point of view, in a couple of proximate months it will be leased for 100 %”, - he told.
Aleksei Chinaliev added that 85 % of the shops, which were leased sales areas in the first construction stage of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza, are open as of 7-th of December.
According to “Commercial and Industrial Union Real Estate” data, during the first day of shopping and entertainment center technical opening, on the 19-th of November, there were about 45 000 visitors, and during first week – 350 000 visitors.
“K.A.N.Development” president informed journalists as well that still there are plans to redistribute parts of shopping and entertainment center Ocean Plaza participants by selling them.
“We have the agreement already, now it should be formalized in order there were no misinterpretations”, - Igor Nikonov remarked, having promised to announce contract details when it’s signed till the end of 2012.
According to his statements, gross area of the land, allocated for Ocean Plaza project realization, constitutes in total more than 6 hectares.
More than 300 shops will be represented in Ocean Plaza, 30 % among them – new for Ukraine brands, particularly, Suvari, Marina Rinaldi, Reiss, Michael Kors, Evita Peroni, Bebe, Cinque, Black Star by Timati, Max Mara Weekend, Denis, Why Denis, Stefanel, Napapijiri, Blanco, Karma of Sharma, Chouppete, Caterina Leman, Nut King and others.
In addition, more than 30 conceptual restaurants, product hypermarket “Real”, household appliances and electronics hypermarket “Eldorado” of 1500 sq.m., children entertainment center “Happylon” of 2400 sq.m., cinema complex “Cinema City Kiev” of 4239 sq.m. for 9 halls, food court, the biggest in Ukraine and one of the biggest in Eastern Europe public aquarium of 350 000 liters, where more than 1000 sea inhabitants, parking of 60 000 sq.m. for 1,407 car places will be present in shopping and entertainment center.
